Taking a 3D model and creating a 3D storyboard

Having discussed the types of shots we were likely to use, we all took a basic block out of a ship and individually came up with shots that may be interesting. We were initially interested in a particular piece by Alex Roman: The success of his video was largely in the composition and capturing a mood of his environment.
Here is a link to "The Third and the Seventh"

Here are some basic shots that I created with the use of a simple animated camera through a scene.

Research: The British Museum and V&A

To further the research that me and my group had made over the past few weeks, we also planned to visit two museums: The British Museum and the V&A. As advised by our tutor we found an incredible amount of information which greatly assisted the conceptual understanding of the century we had set our project in. We all took many photos of paintings, pottery, architectural designs, all of which broadened our understanding of colours, materials and Chinese culture of the 14/15 Century. Our project had an opportunity to be enriched by the artifacts available to us. In total I had taken around 200 photos, here are a selection of those amongst our research.
Please do look at all of the pictures as they do give relevance to our project, some of which are incredible works of art! I found the trip very insightful and beneficial.
